Project 2: Digital Imaging (Mood)

Medium: Digital Photography, Mixed Medium

Size: An orientation of your choosing (2D, 3D, Video, Collage etc.)

Using the array of digital tools at your disposal (Adobe Photoshop, Digital Camera, Scanner, Drawing Mediums etc.) Create a piece that visually expresses an emotional state, such as anger, fear, sadness, happiness or euphoria. Strongly consider how the application of color articulates your chosen emotion visually. Do warmer colors accurately convey a sense of sadness? Perhaps cooler shades of blue and green are more appropriate in this instance. Also, strongly consider the nature of the content and forms within your composition. Perhaps your project is a self portrait, collage or abstract representation of your respective mood. Think beyond the obvious representations of mood, avoid emoticons (smiley and sad faces) in pursuit of a compelling and intelligent concept.

Requirements
• Capture at least 10 photographs that support your concept.
• Project must include at least 1 scanned component

Journal: Take photos of the 6 elements and the 7 principles.  One photo per definition.  Remember to change the image size and place them onto your blog.  Place all of your photos onto your flashdrive.
